Contrary to popular belief, sea-run cutthroat are available to salt water
anglers year round. This is Washington's hottest game fish. From the time
that a cutthroat is born their life is not one of ease. More than half of the fish
born in the rivers will never make it to the salt. For this reason the sea-run
cutthroat is protected from barbs and harvesting by anglers. Sea-runs are
available to us from the southern great bend of Puget Sound to the northern
islands of the San Juans. Sight casting can be done on a regular basis with
dry flies which will give you a true trout experience. From small beaches lined
with evergreens to big salt flats on northern islands, you will experience the
best sea-run cutthroat fishing in the country with a leader in the industry.
